Dear Parents,

We are excited to invite you to Mountain View Elementary’s 1st Annual Grade Level Night! This special event is an excellent opportunity for you to meet your child’s teacher and learn more about the expectations for the school year.

The evening will begin in the cafeteria at 5:00 PM, where we will share important information about several key programs and initiatives that are part of our school’s approach to education, including:

• PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports): Learn how we foster a positive school environment.
• Capturing Kids’ Hearts: Discover how we build relationships with students to support their social and emotional well-being.
• IReady: Get insights into the tools we use to assess and support your child’s academic growth.
• Curriculum & Instruction: Understand what your child will be learning throughout the year.
• Assessment Procedures: Learn about the various assessments your child will participate in.

After our session in the cafeteria, you will be guided to your child’s classroom. Here, you will have the chance to see firsthand how the school day is structured, what is required for each class, and how your child’s teacher will support their learning and development.

We strongly encourage you to attend this event as it will provide valuable insights into your child’s education and help you understand how to support their learning journey.
